About The Role
Accredited Supportive Living Services Limited (ASLS) is seeking Health Care Aides for its new Designated Supportive Living (DSL) complex in Grimshaw Alberta named Stone Brook.

- Responsible for the provision of personal care of residents of the Designated Supportive Living complex;
- Utilize the Resident’s Care Plan developed by a Registered Nurse;
- Provide individualized care to ASLS’s Level 3, Level 4, and Level 4 Dementia residents;
- Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents and families;
- Complies with policies, procedures and work routines;
- Ensures a safe, clean, and healthy work environment; and
- Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents, guests, and staff.
About You
- Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate (or willingness to obtain);
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language;
- Competency in computers and programs such as Microsoft Office projects;
- Mentally and physically able to do duties as outlined above;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers;
- Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills; and
- Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public.
